Lilongwe Police is keeping in custody two
Tanzanian nationals and a Malawian for
allegedly being found in possession of
medical drugs without a license.
Central Region Police Publicist, John

(Mana) on Friday, that the three were
arrested at Lilongwe Devil Street where
they were doing their business.
Namalenga identified the Tanzanian suspects
as Edivela Aaron, 30, Dan Mungosi, 38, and
James Adam a Malawian whose particulars
are not known.
He said they received a tip from unknown
people that they saw strange faces taking
delivery of drugs.
"It was yesterday when we got a tip from
the public, as the police officers we rushed
to the scene where we managed to arrest
the suspects," he explained.
Namalenga said the suspects were found
with 41-tins of chlorophenical tablets.
According to Namalenga, Pharmacy and
Poisons Board revealed that the medicine
could have been stolen at any of the
government hospitals.
"The suspects appeared in court yesterday
